Cataract surgeries free of cost

Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha (NGO) came in to being in the year 2006 .This is National level self-financing society and registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI 1860) dated 26 May 1860. The registration number S-55133 dated 10 March 2006


OUR MISSION

Continuously work for needy & poor to improve quality of their life by providing education to poor and street children, medical care to senior citizens & organizing eye care camps.
We at Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha:

· Opened and supporting 48 schools in northern India where it is needed most ( Nr 675 Students).
· Supported successful cataract surgeries for more than 12088 aged persons free of cost.

· Supported medical treatment to 1375 senior citizens


(We at Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha support eye campus staffed with skilled doctors who willingly give their time and consultation, to help those in need. Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha operated on Sunita Devi  to restore her vision.

 A little help from you can help restore the sight of not only Sunita Devi but many more like her. As a little as Rs 1500/- from you can change the lives of three disadvantaged elders and help them see world better.

 1-      The pre-operation tests
 2-      Transportation from point of residence to hospital
 3-      Provide food and shelter during the course of hospital stay
 4-      Medicines for 1 month
 5-      Cost of inter-ocular lens
 6-      Post operative eye shield

 Last year with your help, we enabled better vision to 3725 elderly.

 We successfully operated their cataract free of cost.

  Dear Friend, Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha is going to  organize distribution of blankets to the elderly and helpless persons to protect them from cold. It is a humble request to all the donors that on this occasion, by cooperating all of you, please give your support to give blankets to the poor people in this program. You will be happy to know that this type of program has been organized by the organization for the last many years. In the last year, about 3000 people were given blankets with the cooperation of all of you. This facility is for those poor and alone elderly people who are out of their homes or there is no such facility in their house. Any donor can give a blanket to a poor elderly person for protection in winter by donating only Rs 550. We have received requests from many people for blanket distribution in the month of December.
