So, how about lighting the lives of the disadvantaged elderly with no one to support them?? There are over 100 million elderly in India. 50 million sleep hungry, 25 million live alone and 15 million are blind because they cannot afford simple Cataract surgery.   Diwali is a wonderful occasion to light up the lives of those who need your help the most- India’s needy and helpless elderly.   Here is an opportunity to change their lives, brighten their Diwali to little special this year. Dear Friend, Monsoons have led to widespread flooding in different states of India. Rajasthan, Gujarat, Assam and Odisha Have suffered destruction of homes, livelihood, livestock and lives. In Bihar, southern Rajasthan, the districts of Pali, Jalore and Sirohi are badly affected.  Gujarat needed to relocate 27500 families to shelters in just 7-9 days.  Bihar needed to relocate 8600 families to shelters in just 3-4 days.  The flooding has affected SitaMadi, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Anand, Patan and parts of Valsad districts. 15 districts of Assam including Lakhimpur, Jorhat, Golaghat, Sivasagar and also Kaziranga National Park and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary have sustained heavy damages. Odisha is staring at a major flood after heavy rainfall in Kalahandi and Rayagada districts, in Nabarangpur at least 5000 people were evacuated as flood water submerged more than a dozen villages. In such disasters the Elders suffer the most.  Help us to rush urgently needed

Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha operated on Sunita Devi  to restore her vision.  A little help from you can help restore the sight of not only Sunita Devi but many more like her.
